My wife and I had a great time on this tour. Lots to do and see on this very busy tour ... busy in that it includes a lot - a small boat ride, an air boat ride, a nature walk, lunch and the bus ride to the various tour locations. Despite having lots to do, it was at a very relaxed pace and we never felt rushed. Each portion of the tour was just as fun as the other and by the end of the day we had seen a lot of wildlife and got a real good background on the ecosystem in the Everglades. The time spent in the van was just as enjoyable thanks entirely to our tour guide Ben. His knowledge and stories of the Everglades made the time fly by. (In addition, being picked up from and returned to our hotel was super convenient). I highly recommend this tour.

It was so much fun: we saw a ton of wading birds and we went to 4 different places. We saw alligators with one just a few feet away.

I highly recommend this trip. If you have the chance to visit the Everglades during December, DO IT! At this time of year, we were able to see an abundance of wildlife...alligators, many species of birds, dolphins, all types of fish...some snakes too. Something for everyone! I really liked the variety of activities...can ride with our guide, Julio, who shared his wealth of knowledge and clear passion for the environment with us. Then, we did an airboat ride...a must do experience!!! We saw many alligators and birds. The scenery is like we were on a different planet! Truly. The guide stopped whenever we wanted to take pictures and he was hilarious. THEN, there was a quick demonstration with huge alligators. THEN, we had the opportunity to hold Snappy, a baby turtle. I did it and was so happy!!! We then went on a short hike...on a walkway...and learned about invasive species...and saw a baby alligator and some snakes. After that, it was off to try and see manatees but no luck. Oh well...the scenery was amazing. Lunch...which you preorder when you are picked up...was ready and delicious. We sat right on the water. Price of lunch is included...unless you want beer! We ended our day in the Gulf side of the Everglades...boat ride! We saw dolphins, rare fish, and many birds. Great day! Julio is amazing. He knows so much about this area and is very personable. The small group allowed us to get up know each other. Oh!!! PLEASE be on time as a courtesy to your driver and other guests. Julio was very nice and waited a long time for a lost guest. It was nice of him but rude of the person to do that.
