My wife and I played tourist in our own city, and booked this tour with some friends. Our guide, Hopper, was most informative and entertaining, as he crafted his New Orleans "gumbo" made up of interesting details about the city's history, economy, architecture, music, culture and more - each ingredient interesting on its own, but when blended together . . . delicious!!
I was not aware that we would also get to tour the 1850 House Museum. I've walked past that Museum many times, but never stopped in. You get a wonderful glimpse into what life was like here in the 1850's. It would have been great on its own, but was even better as a surprise perk with this tour.
