I highly recommend this tour, especially if you’re not sure what you want to see in the French Quarter. Our guide, Jay Kuebel, was friendly and knowledgeable, and shared a great deal about the history of New Orleans. The tour helped us to decide which historical sites to focus on during the rest of our stay in New Orleans.

Michael was an excellent guide giving us great historical context and personal insights. We got a bonus 20 minutes - guides are volunteers and proceeds go to support the museum. The tour is quite a long time on your feet but not overly long in distance - we spend quite a time at different points of Jackson square, looked at the Mississippi, passed the French market and then walked along a number of the streets to see some of the most famous houses and buildings. Heading back today to the 1850 house with our complimentary tickets.

Louis was so knowledgeable about New Orleans architecture. It was an enjoyable tour and we learned a lot about the area and it's history. Unfortunately the 1850 House was closed and was not included on the tour as it was advertized.
