Explore the natural wonders of Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet 3 miles (4.8 km) off the coast of Maui, on this snorkeling tour from Maalaea. Surrounded by clear tropical waters, this extinct cone is home to many species of marine life, such as fish, sea urchins, sharks, manta rays, and coral. Molokini is a marine preserve, meaning nothing can be disturbed, keeping the island and underwater environment pristine. You'll also explore Turtle Town, and admire native birds. Two water slides, a glass bottom viewing room, and a "leap of faith" are also available if you don't want to snorkel or finish early. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, and juice are included.

Went out for a day of snorkeling and whale watching board the Calypso on February 6, 2025. The crew, the captain and all the staff were very friendly, very helpful, and enjoyable to be around. We visited Molokini and turtle town. Snorkeling gear is provided For people of all ages and sizes. The snorkeling was acceptable, but wish we would have seen more variety of fish, but that depends on the day, so nothing is guaranteed. We were able to see two turtles in turtle town so that was wonderful. As this was February and mating season for the humpback whales, we saw a tremendous amount of whales and many that came right up to the boat ( the boat is big enough you don’t need to worry about the whales and the boat). After snorkeling, they did have cocktails and beer as well as Soft drinks of juices and ginger ale. They did serve breakfast, which was a continental breakfast of danish, fruit, eggs, and sausage. Lunch was also provided and you could choose from pulled pork roast beef, turkey sandwiches with green bean salad or potato salad on the side. Everyone had a great time the weather was perfect, yeah when you look at the price, you might stop and think no, it’s worth it, do it.
