What an adventure! Garl keeps you going all day long. He knows just where to look to find all of the best wildlife. He can spot owls way up on the top of a tree, little tiny tree frogs nestled under leaves, and gators from miles away. Garl is knowledgeable and experienced. This trip is tons of fun and seems to leave no habitat of the Everglades unexplored. A full, action packed day!

As mentioned in other reviews, this is the best way to explore the everglades! You can tell Garl loves his work and knows the area intimately and knows where to find the various creatures. Along with the kayaking, you get to hike to an alligator hole which is quite stunning (be sure to bring your camera!) He also stops at an interesting market where you can buy exotic fruits and snacks to bring along the trip. You never know what you are going to see from gators, salt water crocs, dolphin, sharks, and even a 14 foot long saw fish! Of course there are the dozens of native species of birds to see. It is a naturalist and wildllife photographer's delight. The trip is capped off with a breath taking sunset on the way back.

Garl is the best kind of guide. Knowledgable, enthusiastic, patient, you can tell he loves his work, and that inspires you to love what you see. Rather than trying to look around yourself, I'd recommend him as he knows exactly what to look for and where. Without his expert eye, we would never have spotted the dolphins, manatees, lemon sharks, horseshoe crabs, crocs or gators... let alone been able to approach them for a closer look! A genuinely nice guy, and a fantastic guide; I'd recommend kayaking and exploring the Everglades with Garl wholeheartedly! Andy
