I had been hyped about this trip since the day I reserved and the tour did not fail to live up to my expectation! What I appreciate from this tour is not only the knowledges I gained for different animals, plants and the whole ecosystem of the everglades, but also the passion we saw on Garl and his team to the nature. Before the tour, my parents were quite hesitant to attend due to the concerns to safety and language barrier, but the tour proved that all our worries were unnecessary because Garl took care of everything and he patiently explained every question we had about the everglades. The only regret we had is that we didn't get to see a lot of animals (crocodile, lemon sharks, etc) in this dry season and Garl explained to us that 2019 is an unusual year for everglades because the water didn't not recede that much due to the excessive rainfalls and thus wildlife is more spread out in this dry season compared to other years. This also alarmed us how the climate change has impacted every part of place on Earth. Despite of that, we still saw a lot of alligators (Garl has a keen eye and hearing!) and one was swimming across us during the fresh water kayaking! Garl told us the stories and the names of those alligators and I was still amazed about how he can recognize all those alligators and call their names out! Every second of the tour was so fun and memorable and I hope I can come back next time with more of my friends!
