The Royal Gorge is one of the most thrilling and exciting whitewater rafting trips on the Arkansas River. Enjoy the beauty and thrill of God’s creation as you experience 1,000 foot high canyon walls, confront exciting Class III-V rapids, and see the famous Royal Gorge Bridge. Full-day trips start with Bighorn Canyon (class III-IV), break for a delicious riverside lunch, then drop into the Royal Gorge (class IV-V).

Journey Quest is a non-profit Christ-centered rafting ministry, and these trip are uplifting, family-friendly adventures. The Royal Gorge is a serious section of river. Previous class III or higher paddling experience and strong swimming ability are recommended for all guests. For the safety of our guests and guides, we cannot take guests who are over 250lbs or individuals with a history of heart or serious medical problems.

The entire trip was fantastic, but rafting through the gorge was breathtaking! Mark (owner and our guide) was a highly skilled, informative and wonderful host!

We absolutely loved our full day on the River with Journey Quest!! My first rafting experience, my husbands 3rd. Mark, the owner and our guide was exceptional! Professional, personable, knowledgeable and could be somewhat funny at times. We also met his wife Sara and the whole staff. All were very kind and helpful. We started the day with a group prayer on the boat and from there it was nothing but an awesome experience, both challenging and fun!! The Royal Gorge was absolutely stunning and full of history! My husband and I are retired from the Navy, we’ve been around the world and done a lot! I can honestly say this was one of the BEST adventures we’ve ever had! We highly recommend Journey Quest & already discussing what our next adventure with them will be! Thank you Mark, Sara & the whole team! P.S. the pictures that were taken along the River are outstanding! That was a nice surprise to have this rememberable moment captured so well! God bless you and may He continue to bless Journey Quest.

Best White water rafting in Colorado! I’ve been to multiple white water rafting tours across the US and this one knocks all of them out of the water!
