The Royal Gorge is one of the most thrilling and exciting whitewater rafting trips on the Arkansas River. Enjoy the beauty and thrill of God’s creation as you experience 1,000 foot high canyon walls, confront exciting Class III-V rapids, and see the famous Royal Gorge Bridge. Full-day trips start with Bighorn Canyon (class III-IV), break for a delicious riverside lunch, then drop into the Royal Gorge (class IV-V).

Journey Quest is a non-profit Christ-centered rafting ministry, and these trip are uplifting, family-friendly adventures. The Royal Gorge is a serious section of river. Previous class III or higher paddling experience and strong swimming ability are recommended for all guests. For the safety of our guests and guides, we cannot take guests who are over 250lbs or individuals with a history of heart or serious medical problems.

We completed a full day rafting trip. I can't say enough about the trip. If you are looking for a smaller, more intimate experience, this is the company for you. for those of you with minimal experience rafting, you can do this! I had some reservations going into it, however those were relieved once we were moving along the water. While enjoying the views and the exhilaration of "running" the rapids, i always felt safe. Mark, our guide, gave us excellent instruction is safety measures and coached us along the way.

This was our 2nd time we went with this company. I would not use any other company. All the employees are so nice & helpful. This year we had Conner as our river guide he kept us entertained & explained things to us . Our ages went form 8 almost 9 - 66. There was 7 of us . Picture wet suits& jackets all included in the price
