Kat was our guide and she saved our butts!! She made this the best of the best kind of experience. We had an absolute blast, got soaked and no one ended up outside the boat except for a quick swim we elected to take. Such a rush!! We watched people thrown from other boats but not ours. She worked hard to give us a great adventure! Highly recommend!! We will do this again!!

We have been rafting on the Ocoee now for 3 years. Originally used Cherokee due to a friend recommendation. Definitely was an excellent recommendation. The full day trip is excellent - experienced and professional guides, good quality safety equipment, team spirit/atmosphere. The lunch is very good and filling, even for a big guy like me. In and around the big rapids, the team is organized, there is always someone there for safety and to help out if you fall out or are tossed around, and the rafts stop after the rapid to make sure everyone is ok. Cherokee isn't the cheapest way to do the Ocoee, but I wouldn't use anyone else (especially having seen the way other companies work while rafting). If you're looking for appropriate safety and lots of fun, they're who to go with. Will be using them for every trip in the future.

The staff was very friendly and organized. Our guide had a lot of fun but at the same time we knew that he was an expert on that river. The lunch was very delicious and the service was excellent. There was plenty of food and we were able to fill up a second time if we wanted. The main facility had a well stocked gift shop with reasonably priced goods and souvenirs. You have many choices to raft the Ocoee but I would highly recommend Cherokee!
