The gondola ride was nice and romantic. The gondola driver(?) even sang a song for us. The ride was about an hour and it goes around Coronado Cays, which is a much different community than anywhere else. We didnt get our picture taken like the boat did in front of us so dont know why that was. Overall, good experience.

We stayed at Loews Coronado Resort with our dog and took the gondola tour of the cays. Having lived in San Diego for 12 years, I wasn't planning on being surprised and delighted, but both of us were totally impressed by the smooth "effortless" ride, our fun gondalier who chatted but didn't blather on, and he sang a couple of arias IN ITALIAN, and it was sooo beautiful and romantic. Even our dog, who slept happily on the carpeted floor of the boat, enjoyed herself. It is a MUST DO if you are in San Diego. They will validate your parking if you are staying somewhere besides Loews (which is a wonderful place to vacation with or without your dog!). Grazie!

My fiance took me for a Gondola cruise for my 30th birthday. It was soooo fabulous. Our Gondolier Gino was wonderful. The cruise was sooo relaxing, romantic, and amazing. I am sooo happy that I got to experience. I can't stop telling people about my experience. I am looking forward to returning for another cruise.
