The train can accommodate a motorized scooter if it is no wider than 25 inches. There is a special lift to lift the scooter onto the train.
Please note: Arizona doesn't observe Day Light Savings and switches between MST (Mountain Standard Time) and PST (Pacific Standard Time) depending on the season.

We had lots of fun on this trip. I don’t think the upgrade to Luxury is worth the money because we had to buy our drinks. But other than that everyone was great.

Nice gentle but a bit slow journey, which on the way to GC was fine but on the journey back to Williams seemed even slower after fatiguing day of hiking. The staff were great and the entertainment good and fun (singers with guitars and staged train robbery). Kids would love it. Kids would likely fall asleep on train ride home. Worth it for the unique experience.

First of all, don't believe the negative reviews The trip is great, very enjoyable. We left on October 26, 2020. We had the first class car, comfy seats, reclining, and plenty of leg room. You will get snacks both ways, they were great. Our passenger service person was Claudia, she was awesome. Yes, she told a few jokes, we enjoyed them. Yes, a cowboy sings about 5 songs, it helped pass the time. Yes, there is a train robbery, I gave up a dollar, enjoy it. The scenery is drab, but remember, you're in Arizona. We saw a few animals, by chance. My wife and I would do it again.
