As a history lover,I have wanted to learn more about Atlanta’s Oakland Cemetery. As a “Foodie”, I am always looking for new flavors to savor. This tour was a wonderful way to combine both of these passions. Our group of 10 participated in a private tour and our guide was Margaret. She was very knowledgeable and welcomed questions. We all had a great time, even our picky eaters since they do work around food restrictions and preferences.

Margaret was beyond amazing! My fiancé and I booked this tour on a mini getaway to Atlanta. We got lucky that this is the less busier time of year, so it ended up just being the 2 of us...making it our very own private tour. The tour had a great balance of walking/educating/eating, which is nice since some tours can overdue one area. The food was delicious and actually more filling than I expected! The cemetery was beautiful and not as spooky as I thought it would be. If it wasn't for Margaret's high spirit and energy, this experience wouldn't have been the same! She answered all of our questions and provided amazing story-telling while we indulged in some yummy historic foods!
