The Gypsy Gold Farm

our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed. Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies. Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

Mu Company Join the fun Tours from Ormond Beach Visited the Gypsy Gold Horse Farm September 10, 2024. My Senior Group Motor coach Company has been to other Horse farms in Ocala and this one was the best. Dennis the owner and his wife was exceptionally the friendliest and knowledgeable of their farm and Banner Horses. My group of seniors loved the History presentation, followed by the easy walking tour of probably 2 dozen Banner horses with 2 babies and also parrots. They also had cold water for my guest on the tours. 1st class tour, we will be back

It was interesting to learn about how the breed developed over time and how the breed gained recognition as a breed. It was also interesting to walk the farm and to meet the many horses, donkeys and mules that live there.

The tour guy was very knowledgeable and friendly. Also, the lady that handled the horses was very nice and friendly. The horses are beautiful and well taken care off. The Ranch have other animals you can see. There where no rush during the tour. The place is beautiful and huge! We recommend it!
