Haleakala is known for rapidly changing weather conditions and dense clouds and rain are common. As a result, clear viewing of the sunrise is not guaranteed, and the tour operates rain or shine. Refunds will be granted only when the tour is cancelled for safety reasons.
The high altitude at the summit area may complicate health conditions and breathing difficulties. Elderly visitors, pregnant women, young children, and those with respiratory or heart conditions should consult their doctor prior to touring. Walk slowly and drink water to avoid dehydration. If you have gone scuba diving, you should wait at least 72 hours before going on this tour.

It was colder than we anticipated and the day we went was supposedly a warm day. It was also very windy. Our suggestion is to bring more cold weather clothing including hats, scarves and gloves. As for the tour itself, Preston was our guide and he was outstanding. He shared so much educational information which was above and beyond what we were expecting, and very much appreciated. It was a very moving experience as the sun rose and the Hawaiians did an Ole chant welcoming the new day. Highly recommend - hope you have Preston as your guide!

We were never picked up for your, we tried reaching out many times and no one could help us. They are refusing refunds for their mistakes. Wasted a whole day on this planned trip that was never completed, now I am wasting more time trying to recover funds back
