When we went to rent a Slingshot at 1:00 pm, we waited 30 minutes to speak to a Sales Clerk, only to be told we couldn't rent for 4 hours because it was 1:30 and they close at 5:00. No discount for the half hour we wasted waiting for the Sales Clerk, and they certainly weren't going to stay open after 5:00. We were so disappointed because we were greatly looking forward to trying a Slingshot! It seems that they'd want to rent them because they're just sitting around, but I guess the Sales Clerk isn't the owner, so he doesn't care. Very poorly run business!

Fun to ride but dissatisfied with the shuttle service from the port to the pick up location. Got off ship at 1 pm but didnt get to start driving until 245 pm.

The shuttle from the port is provided FREE of charge to our cruise ship guest. We make all of our guests aware that the shuttle runs every 30 minutes. The cruise ship that you were on didn't let guests exit until 1:30pm and you were on the first courtesy shuttle off the ship. When you arrived, there is a vehicle checkout process just like with any rental car. We advise our guests that there is also the option for the $8 Uber or Taxi ride from the port that saves time. We are sorry you were not satisfied with the courtesy shuttle option you chose even though the amount of time you had the vehicle was not effected.

Pleasantly surprised with the short snick snick shift action. Those slingshots love to be rev matched and it was so satisfying slotting that shifter into gear with proper throttle blips. 173hp from GM's ecotec four is more than enough power for that thing and much more could get you in trouble. In other words, we had a good time.
