You’ll be setting out on your adventure in a 35’ Bertram sport fishing boat that can accommodate up to 4 anglers. We'll be targeting Blue Marlin, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and plenty more. we'll have you trolling as soon as we leave the harbor. You'll be provided with top-quality fishing gear to help you battle and reel in your dream catch.

Capt. Shawn and his deck hand Judah were great. The boat was older but well maintained and ran immaculately. In a half day session we had 6 opportunities to catch both blue and black marlins!!! How awesome is that? We were instructed by them on what not to do and what to do in a kind and considerate way as well! I highly recommend the Kona Cowboy! We did land one beautiful blue striped marlin!!!

I can’t say enough good things about the trip with Capt. Shawn and Hannah. They did a wonderful job guiding us on our first deep sea fishing trip. One son caught a 400# marlin and my other son caught a 150# marlin all in one morning. The trip was my sons favorite activity on the vacation and can’t stop talking about it. They were so good with the family and making us all feel welcome.

I can’t recommend Captain Shawn and Deck Leader Kim high enough. Caught one Blue Marlin (released) - and hooked another big one for a really fun fight. Don’t let the small number of reviews make you question signing up with this team - this is a relatively new business but because of the years and years of deep sea fishing experience both Shawn and Kim bring to the experience, you really can’t beat a trip with this team. The boat is fantastic, and the warm and open conversation is even better! And they know how to find fish! Thanks Shawn and Kim for an unforgettable experience! Next trip to the island will definitely include a fishing trip on your boat! Unless I can convince my wife to go again this trip. Mahalo nui!
