I felt this group was very well-organized and was very communicative of what to expect up until the day of the boat ride! The boat itself was small, but it didn't feel too crowded and you would be told where to move to see the wildlife. We were able to see some humpbacks (one snuck away before we could see it), but we were lucky to see a small pod of orcas with a few babies! The babies jumping out of the water was certainly a sight to see. The guide was very informative & welcoming, even going around the boat to speak with everyone individually, which I thought was nice. Overall, the experience is worth having if you're even considering buying tickets. This was the first time I've tried whale watching in Monterey, but I would definitely come back again with Discovery Whale Watch!

Brilliant morning! Captain Danny Frank and our guide Andrew were amazing. Got to see 10 orcas, dolphins and a couple of humpbacks.

I could not have chosen a better way to spend my birthday morning! Never know what we will find exploring but finding lunge feeding humpback whales is always a dream come true. The added bonus of a whale coming up right in front of me next to the boat - showing off his baleen smile - was thrilling. Thank-you
