During your time on Kauai, enjoy a three-hour guided kayak and snorkel tour along the picturesque Hanalei River and in Hanalei Bay, which is home to the beautiful Bay Reef Lagoon. Admire the dramatic Makana Peak (Bali Hai) and get up close to tropical reef fish. As you kayak along the river, you’ll be surrounded by lush trees and diverse wildlife. Learn about the flora and fauna of the surrounding area from your naturalist guide, and enjoy a snorkel in the turquoise waters of the lagoon.

My family was disappointed in our Hanalei kayak and snorkel. We had a beautiful day. The guides "shorted" our time on the river expecting we could get around to Hideaway Bay. The Seas didn't let us, they can't help the weather. But instead of coming up with a plan C they told us to snorkel in the Bay where honestly all I saw was my husband's feet. Most people on our tour sat on the beach for 45 minutes. They cut the tour short by more than a half hour. It turned out to be an expensive 40 minute kayak tour. I gave to 2 stars because Hanalei is absolutely beautiful and the 40 minutes was lovely

Aloha Bucket, If you have been following the Kauai weather, it was starting to conspire before the recent massive floods we just witnessed. Guides do usually have a back up plan, but between the high surf which prevented you from exploring Hideaways and the rain engorged river, it kind of lessened the options. In spite of the weather glad you could appreciate the panorama and beauty of Hanalei environs; it is classic. Now for more sunshine. Thanks for sharing. Micco

This was a fun adventure with very knowledgeable guides. Customer service was very helpful -- After a rainstorm forced the tour to cancel, we were easily able to reschedule our tour for the following day (Alternatively, they offered a refund if we were unable to book a different day). We met our guides at the main office in Wailua and carpooled up to Hanalei. On the drive, our friendly guides were happy to share helpful information about local history, culture, landmarks, island flora/fauna, and recommendations of other things to see and do on Kauai. After a short kayak up the Hanalei River, we paddled into Hanalei Bay to a snorkeling beach. The beach location varies slightly based on wave conditions and the paddling skill of the people in each group. The guides made sure everyone stayed safe and were able to keep up with the group. The tour also included a picnic lunch of sandwiches, chips, fresh pineapple, cookies and juice on the beach. The water at Hanalei was murkier than what we found in Poipu Beach but there were plenty of fish and eels to see. My husband even spotted a ray. We'd definitely book with this company again for one of their longer kayak trips.

Aloha Empress, Very fair review of our Hanale Blue Lagoon paddle and snorkel. Been a rainy winter and thus the Hanalei River has been emptying copious amounts of muddy water into the bay; consequently snorkeling has not been as good with the murkier waters.. Glad to hear that your experience from the Front Desk to in the field was good. I can honestly say we have an excellent crew. You seem ready for either our Wailua Sacred Falls paddle and hike and/or our all day sea kayak paddle along Na Pali coast. Until our trail or wakes cross. Thanks for taking the time. Aloha Clem, Of late the weather has been on the sloppy side. Without rain, you could not have rainbows...and guides as you learned can make the difference. Easy to guide when the day dawns with epic weather. True test of a guide comes when weather is less than ideal. Glad to hear that Brian and Phil took a curve and made it a plus. Thanks for sharing.
