I will start off by saying I did not go to the Cafe to eat. I went to to visit the Rock Shop and look at the memorabilia. I was in LA back in 2004 but it was before I collect the shot glasses. The young man at the register was very kind and helpful. He showed me where the sale items were and gave me permission to look through the restaurant even though he shouldn’t have. I was surprised they didn’t have more big name items on display. Several of the artist I had never heard of. My only Rex is go early and beat the crowds.

Ok so the food at this chain is similar where ever you are in the world, it’s good, big portions, nothing special, the service was good here, the location was near the Chinese theatre but it’s not as nice as the one in New York or Universal City walk Orlando, but whilst in LA it’s a must visit when you’ve got kids, or teens.

Thought this iconic Hard Rock Cafe would be special; it wasn’t. Dark and dingy inside. Food was over cooked. Paying for food was a worry as waiter said he needed to take my credit card through the back as they “had no mobile terminal” He was put out when I refused to let the card out of my sight and agreed I could pay on exit. Only a fool would allow a credit card to pay in this way. Hard Rock should not allow this to happen; very poor.
