The Whaley House Night Tour is rated PG-13. Tour is not recommended for children 12 years of age or younger.
There is free parking available at Old Town State Park. Please plan accordingly.
Guests must check in with our sales rep at the ticket booth no later than 20 minutes prior to the tour starting. Late check-in may result in forfeited reserved entry.

Whaley House Museum

Experience one of the most historic buildings in Old Town San Diego on this live guided night tour. The Whaley House was built in 1857 by Thomas Whaley, a San Diego pioneer, as his family home. Over the course of history the Whaley House has served as a general store, county courthouse and theater. It has been said that the Whaley House has “witnessed more history than any other building in the city.” It is also commonly referred to as "The Most Haunted House in America"! Come visit the Whaley House and enjoy an historic look into early California and experience the home's rich Greek Revival architecture style, authentic decor and its mysterious and chilling past.

Not enough substance to make it worthwhile. The house has been renovated too much to appear realistic. Certainly not spooky in the least. Disappointed 😞

We had a great tour of the Whaley House with Gentleman Jack. While we did not encounter any spirits, the house’s historical background was a great introduction to the history of San Diego. The house is very well cared for and it was a delightful experience.

I legit want to ask Ophilia out just to hear the way they put history and lore in such a small area of time. I have been waiting so long to do this tour, and in my younger years I could not afford it. I spent the dollar and was given a grand show. Xoxoxoxo
