There were cool things to see. Unfortunately the guide was not very informative and did not allow us to stop and look in any area for any length of time. The guy it was very uninspiring and shared information that wasn’t pertinent to the tour or was already obvious just by looking.

Wouldn’t refund our money… cruise was CANCELED and it was a CRUISE pickup excursion. There aren’t cruises in Hawaii!! Would t refund our money. Even after trying to reschedule. Terrible customer service.

The full day tour offered by Dynamic Tours is highly recommended for the big island Hilo stop of our cruise. Our day began with a visit to the Richardson Blacks Beach. We then proceeded to Queen Liliuokalani Gardens which had a number of banyan trees in a very serene park. Next stop was the King Kamehameha Statue. We missed the one in Honolulu. It was nice to see this one. Big Island Candies was a shopping stop. We saw workers from a window in the production area making the goodies. Rainbow Waterfalls was the next stop. It is a small waterfall whose spray when hit by the sun gives an illusion of a rainbow. The main attraction of the tour was a visit to the Volcanoes National Park. Yong our driver/guide was an expert narrator in building up the suspense for each crater and spot we visited in the park. Understanding how Kilauea volcano has acted through the centuries is what Yong taught us. The “brownie” lava field going to the coast on the craters road and seeing the huge crater is the highlight of the park. After seeing the volcanoes, we visited an orchid garden and the Mauna Loa factory. So many varied activities for one day. Thank you Yong!
