Огляд

The ultimate multi activity package: a helicopter tour, a dogsled tour and a landing on the lower glacier to explore the melt pools and crevasses.

Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a huge snow field high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with Alaskan sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer long. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team if you want, or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team.

After the tour the helicopter takes you to the lower glaciers where you will land on the hard ice between the crevasses to see the majestic blue melt pools.

Total Tour time 2 hours - 1 hour on the glacier with dogsledding (aprox 30 min sled ride) and 30 min at the lower glacier near the crevasses and blue melt pools. Aprox 30 min of flight seeing total round trip

Alaska Helicopter Tours has Robinson 44s and ASTAR helicopters. We never guarantee the type of helicopter you will be flying in unless a private helicopter option is purchased. Parties with multiple separate bookings, or parties over 2 passengers may be in 2 helicopters, but will always be together for the tour.

Our pilot Shad B. was very personable and professional. He helped point out wildlife- we saw from a distance, bears, sheep and goats. Very soft landings at both the dog sled training area and the glacier. Our dogsled musher Ellen was very informative and let us all switch places to take turns on the sled. The puppies were off season, so we missed them. The weather was great on our day. The glacier landing area was so amazing that we didn’t want to leave. Definite recommend!

Shad was a great pilot. He pointed out lots of animals, landscape and so sweet. He assisted with boarding and rotating passengers from front to back so each of us got the front seat advantage. Made suggestions for our pictures..he took pictures for Alaska helicopter for purchase bu also took pictures with our phones. I have been on couple different heli rides throughtout the US lower 48 plus Hawaii, he was top notch and very patient. Drive Kris was timely and informative about Anchorage and surrounding area, even making recommendations for dinner. He was very relaxed and assisted with on and off. Took photos of our heli taking off for us. Way to go Shad and Kris. If we are ever back in Anchorage will definitely utilize Alaska helicopter Tours. We are from Tennessee and wanted and adventure...we got it. Without hesitation....book and sit back... Dog sledding was great but the flight and glacier landing was just amazing!! Here is a big thank you to Carolina, Shad and Kris!!! Job well done!

It was a lot of fun! Everyone in the team is very professional, the driver, the team at the camp helping us to get ready, the helicopter pilot and the mushers … and all the dogs are adorable; walking on the glacier and drinking water from there was an amazing experience too.
