Огляд

The ultimate multi activity package: a helicopter tour, a dogsled tour and a landing on the lower glacier to explore the melt pools and crevasses.

Start this adventure with a spectacular helicopter ride over glaciers and icebergs. We often see moose, black bears, Dall sheep and mountain goats. Land on a huge snow field high on a glacier and enjoy a whole hour with Alaskan sled dogs and their mushers that live here all summer long. Take the dog team for an exhilarating dogsled ride through real snow. You can stand on the runners and mush your own dog team if you want, or just sit on the sled and let the mushers run the team.

After the tour the helicopter takes you to the lower glaciers where you will land on the hard ice between the crevasses to see the majestic blue melt pools.

Total Tour time 2 hours - 1 hour on the glacier with dogsledding (aprox 30 min sled ride) and 30 min at the lower glacier near the crevasses and blue melt pools. Aprox 30 min of flight seeing total round trip

Alaska Helicopter Tours has Robinson 44s and ASTAR helicopters. We never guarantee the type of helicopter you will be flying in unless a private helicopter option is purchased. Parties with multiple separate bookings, or parties over 2 passengers may be in 2 helicopters, but will always be together for the tour.

Magical Alaska! Dog sledding on a snow covered glacier, check! Landing on Knik Glacier to drink clear beautiful blue glacier water, check! Don’t forget to bring a bottle to collect water! Professional team from start to finish. Our pilot Shane was wonderful and kept us safe on a day with strong wind gusts. Cannot say enough about this company and the tour. Definitely the highlight of our two weeks in Alaska!

One of the best excursions I have experienced. Bryant was our pilot the first day, weather prevented our landing at the dog camp, so we landed on the lower glacier, absolutely stunning. We came back the next morning, flew into dog camp and had an awesome experience. As a Travel Agent I would highly recommend this excursion to my clients.

Loved everything about this tour! Could have spent all day with the happy and energetic pups. Everyone from the pilot to the dog teams were friendly and knowledgeable. Shad’s love of the area and excitement as contagious. We enjoyed the gift shop and delicious meal at the lodge. Highly recommend!
