Awesome evening, scenery was beautiful, food was good and the entertainment made the evening fun. Would recommend this tour to everyone.

As soon as I write this the owners will respond with a dismissive reply. My intent is to provide honest feedback so that the experience is improved but I do not recommend spending the money on this until they do. I reported to the designated office on time with a family of six. I was told we would be checked in and seated once we arrived at the boat. The boat was packed. We had an infant and asked if there was seating for all. The crew told us first come first served. With a baby and older family ! So we had nowhere to sit with a family ranging from 67 to 9 months. The crew is young and hustling for tips and fairly blind to the challenges of traveling with family. There were young twenty and thirty something couples occupying tables that could seat four comfortably or six squeezed. I asked if they would accommodate and consolidate and they would not . The crew ignored it. There were tables below that could easily hold six that were occupied by two or three. We finally squeezed six of us in a space for three with a baby. We had to eat out of our laps and spilled drinks on ourselves since we were elbow to elbow. The History was good but you have to be be on the seats facing the shore to see. They only turned the boat in twice so all could see but obviously were killing time at Captain Cooks. There was some interesting history but the servers were non stop hustling during the narrative so you could only hear some of it. We did not see the sunset. The crew does not control the ship and passengers flooded to the bow blocking the view for all but a few. The crew was so blind to it that they were even taking pictures of those blocking the view. Dinner was a salad with strawberry bits. Hunk of meat, mashed potatoes and a dry coconut bread roll. I asked the server what the meat was and he said he thought tri-tip. That price for tri-tip ?Dessert was a thin slice of store bought chocolate cake with a drizzle of strawberry. They said they had 100 percent Kona coffee. I said sure. It was horrible. Yep we did Greenwell Farms and know what good Kona coffee is. I would have sent this back at McDonalds. I write a lot of reviews. Greenwell and Lavaloha will get a rocking review. This boat was a tourist trap. The crew asked for feedback and o tried to give it to them and they did not want to hear it. I paid 900 dollars for our family on what was supposed to be the highlight of our trip. It was not aloha and we did not even get to see the sunset

With regard to the seating arrangements, we do have a 'first come, first served' policy in place which we communicate clearly during the booking process. Our crew is indeed young, but they are trained professionals committed to providing a quality experience to all our passengers. Their work includes a variety of duties to ensure the smooth running of the tour, and we apologize if it appeared to you as hustling for tips. Regarding the narrative and history sharing during the cruise, we do our best to make it audible to everyone. However, the on-board environment may sometimes influence the audibility. We'll certainly review our procedures to ensure that our historical narrative is more audible in the future. Regarding the sunset viewing, while we strive to ensure the best views for everyone, the positioning of the boat and the behavior of other passengers are elements that can sometimes be challenging to control. We encourage guests to speak with the crew if they're having trouble viewing, and we will do our best to accommodate. As for the food and drink, our menu consists of quality dishes selected for their wide appeal, and we apologize if they did not meet your expectations. The meat served is not tri-tip but in fact a premium cut of beef, and the Kona coffee we serve is sourced directly from local farms. We're sorry to hear that our tour did not live up to your expectations and we appreciate your honest feedback. We are committed to continuous improvement and will take your comments into consideration for future enhancements. Your experience helps us to learn and grow, and for that we are grateful.
