Set sail on the west coast of Hawaii Island for a 3-hour cruise to Captain Cook’s Monument for dinner, as a local historian shares stories and legends of the sites you will see along the way. First cocktail is on the house! Listen in to live Hawaiian music and enjoy a magnificent sunset as you sail back to Kona. Don’t forget your camera and keep an eye out for dolphins and seasonal whales.

Unfortunately the staff was exceptionally rude. The food was decent and there were beautiful views. To much history and not enough music. No one cares who’s birthday it is.

We have been offering the three hour Historical Sunset Cruise for well over a decade and have been awarded the best sunset cruise on the island every year that it has operated from our local newspaper. We also have a 4.5 star average Tripadvisor rating with over 4000 reviews.

Everything was amazing about this cruise from the gourmet style food, to the delicious cocktails, top notch live music, to the super friendly and attentive staff. My only criticism would be how rocky the boat was, I don’t know anything about boats or ships, but I feel for a 3 Course dinnner maybe a larger boat would be better to do these types of cruises on. Maybe the rocking and roughness had to do with the water conditions that day? Those prone to sea-sickness may want to consider taking some Dramamine beforehand. Besides that we had a fabulous time, we even saw some dolphins. It was our favorite sunset on vacation🫶🏼

The rain earlier was a damper. However, the excellent crew kept us entertained right through until the rain ceased. The rest went smoothly. The crew provided more entertainment that l was not expecting. Overall, even with the bad weather, it was exceptionally enjoyable. Mahalo.
