I bought the tour through Groupon. I followed the instruction to call ahead to make reservation. The staff told me to meet at the corner of Hollywood & Highland at 1:30pm. I arrived around 1:15pm, checked the 4 corners on the streets. No tour bus or any kiosk found? Only saw their competitors (Starline kiosks and LA Tour retail store). Then I saw the address on the Groupon and started looking for the address.... The address is actually a few more minutes walk from Hollywood & Highland. No way I could see it from the corner of Hollywood & Highland. Found the address, it is Juicy Burger and the business is closed down. I saw Star Track Tour signs, kiosk and umbrella outside this closed down business. I waited till 1:40pm, no staff showed up or even any customers? I started wondering if this is a legitimate business? Feeling very uncomfortable...... After I left without seeing anyone, I contacted Groupon and file a report. Sometimes cheap deal doesn't mean a good deal. :(

I'm very sorry to hear about your experience. It does sound confusing and to be honest your explanation left me a little confused as well. The address for Star Track Tours is clearly posted online. We are at 6741 Hollywood Blvd - a block from Hollywood & Highland. We have never told any customers to go there although we do use that central location as a frame of reference for our address. It's possible the Tour Manager stepped away for a minute to use the restroom or get some water -- the temperature here has been 100-degrees! Regardless - you should have had more fun and if you'll call us back I will be more than happy to offer you a complimentary day or night tour for both you and a guest!

Our group of mature adults took 2 full vehicles on a cool Saturday night. Fortuntaely they provied blankets for those who did not bring jackets. They went overboard to show us a good time and a lot. the tour was longer than advertised. Being night tme, we could not really see too much of the stars homes. Frankly the high walls block a lot of the view during the day as well. Our driver really knew a lot about the area and went far beyond just the stars homes. They also had video screens preparted to add interesting highlights to selected parts of the tour. It wa really a fun time.

I was able to obtain a tour for three persons from "Star Track" Tours at roughly 50% the cost of the StarLine Tours (a leading tour operator). The Star Track owner seems to be a relatively young entrepreneur (and I like to patronize such businesses rather than the big operators that rip you off with high prices). Further, the tour operator was relatively young (I would guess in mid to late 20s) and provided lively and enthusiastic commentary. Star Track anticipated that it would rain and added a temporary overhead roof so we wouldn't get wet and this was especially appreciated when we had seen other tourists drenched when they opted for tours from other operators. We were also provided with blankets when we approached higher altitudes - a service that we greatly appreciated. Also, when I had a strange question about a site for which the tour operator did not have an immediate answer, he immediately researched it on google and found the answer to my question. BottomLine: Star Trek is a great discount operator (i.e., good value)
