Black Hills National Forest

Once the balloon is ready, you’ll gently take to the skies for an approximate 1-hour flight over the Black Hills National Forest. If you are new to ballooning, you’ll be surprised at the silence and serenity you’ll find high above the treetops. It’s truly magical. Upon landing, the ground crew will pack the balloon while you and your pilot celebrate the flight with complimentary champagne, light snacks and a story about the origin of hot air ballooning. Flights depart at sunrise and are weather dependent and always at the discretion of your experienced pilot.

This is was an amazing experience! Mike our pilot did a great job and added lots of humor to the experience. I am not a fan of heights, do NOT let that stop you from taking this trip. It was such a peaceful, calming and beautil experience. The treats afterward was a great way to end the trip. Everyone was great in did everything to make the experience an amazing one for everyone.

Fantastic experience. Mike was an excellent pilot/ guide. We highly recommend it. Worth every penny. "You never know where the wind it t going to blow you" now has real meaning.

Amazing experience...beautiful scenery! Damien and his crew were great. Perfect balance of knowledge and safety mixed with a great sense of humor. Loved when he said we were going "pinecone picking" . Also, really enjoyed the post trip history of ballooning along with mimosas! Back at their business we were greeted by his wife and friendly pup. Absolutely recommend this as a "must do" on your next trip to Custer!
