Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point

Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favorites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.

Their team was awesome! We planed to stay four nights in Fairbanks for chasing Aurora! However, we cannot see in the past three nights due to foggy and cloudy weather! We finds this team for our fourth night chasing Aurora, and they DID it! OMG, we were so happy while we saw Aurora was in the sky! It even fluctuated like dancing 💃 in the sky! They are very professional by using NASA and other astronomical website to check the solar activities! Besides, they get many spots in Fairbanks where there is no light and having good views to see Aurora! Thanks Andrew and your co-guide! You guys made my last night in Alaska! If I come to see Aurora, I will definitely book your team!

Mike, our tour guide, knew Alaska and Aurora Borealis like the back of his hand. He gave us a lot of interesting and useful information about Alaskan culture. He knew exactly when and where to spot the Northern Lights. We were treated to a spectacular, unforgettable show of beauty! Highly recommended this tour!
