We forecast cloud and auroras to ensure we are going to see Aurora. With our key locations and experience we will view the Northern Lights or you can come out viewing with us again for free within the next 30 days as part of our Aurora Guarantee Policy**

Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point

Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favorites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.

Mike, his lovely wife Lisa, and the entire Aurora in Alaska team ensured we saw the lights in 3 locations, the last one being truly magnificent. You can tell that the staff genuinely enjoy what they do, and they are exceptionally courteous to guests. Note that this is an all-ages tour. If you go out on a good viewing night and still don't see the lights it's a 50% refund, and 100% on a cloudy night.

Fantastic experience. Tony and Andrew were wonderful, knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic about making sure we saw and learned about the northern lights. They answered so many questions! They provided snacks and drinks and a little fire to keep us warm during the cold night. We also had the option of sitting in the warm van if we were still cold. Dress warmly! Would definitely do it again!

Excellent experience. First, they proactively let us know if our night was a good viewing night and gave us options to change. When we went on the night they recommended, they hunted the lights for hours putting us in near perfect position - right under the lights. Maybe this was just lucky or maybe they are this good. Great experience either way!
