We forecast cloud and auroras to ensure we are going to see Aurora. With our key locations and experience we will view the Northern Lights or you can come out viewing with us again for free within the next 30 days as part of our Aurora Guarantee Policy**

Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point

Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favorites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.

We were picked up from our hotel earlier than originally planned as the forecast showed clear patches of sky during earlier hours of the evening. We drove several miles until the guides decided to set up camp at a location (can’t remember where). They started two fire pits, provided coffee and hot dogs (vegan option available). We were successful in seeing the aurora and got fantastic pictures! The driver also took pictures of people which I believe will be available to us soon. All around great experience!

Amazing experience and totally worth it. We were unable to spot the aurora for a whole week and booked this as last resort and they did not disappoint. Comfortable vans, food and drink. Amazing photos with the Auroras! We got to see the Alaskan Pipeline as a plus. Tip: careful while in the van because they maintain their vans really hot. Because you dress for the outside cold, the van is unbearably hot with your layers. I hope the operator will ensure that the heater on the vans are turned way down.

What an incredible experience! We were so lucky to have had clear skies and some very active auroras on our night out. Our tour guide Tony was so knowledgeable and put in such effort into finding some great viewing spots and getting us all of our photos! You can tell that these guys are passionate about their jobs, which shows in their effort into making our experience so memorable! 1000/10 would recommend!
