We forecast cloud and auroras to ensure we are going to see Aurora. With our key locations and experience we will view the Northern Lights or you can come out viewing with us again for free within the next 30 days as part of our Aurora Guarantee Policy**

Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point

Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favorites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.

We had such an awesome experience! Our guide Tony was very friendly and knowledgeable about the aurora borealis tracking. And we were lucky enough to have an amazing show in the night sky! Plus we had a nice fire with snacks and hot drinks. Definitely worth the booking! We had a blast!

Seeing the Northern Lights was a bucket list item. After researching a variety of options, we decided to use Aurora in Alaska. Our experience was incredible. The office personnel were very helpful and extremely responsive to my many questions when coordinating the trip for our group of six, and our guides for the actual tours were knowledgeable about the lights and Alaska in general. Our first two nights in Fairbanks were overcast so we did not do the tour ( and we were immediately notified of the poor conditions and refunded the cost of the tour) but we were able to see the lights on our next two nights! Wow! Thanks Aurora in Alaska for a great trip!

Amazing tour! Nick and Hope picked us up at 10:30 from our Air B&B. Communication was great! We made a stop at the North Pole to meet up with the rest of the caravan. Nick was a great guide and answered all our questions. We then drove to a frozen lake with amazing views. The team set up 4 bonfires and kept the vans running when you needed to warm up. They did have coffee and hot chocolate but it was packets that had to be mixed. They also have reindeer sausage that you can roast over the fire. One of the best parts was the 3 photographers placed in different spots. It was nice to know we didn’t have to worry about getting pictures and we could just enjoy the show. The downside it does take a week to get the link to the pictures.
