We forecast cloud and auroras to ensure we are going to see Aurora. With our key locations and experience we will view the Northern Lights or you can come out viewing with us again for free within the next 30 days as part of our Aurora Guarantee Policy**

Gold, Gold, Gold! Alaska is known for oil and gold. Our guides are familiar with gold panning and the man who first discovered gold in July 1902, starting the Fairbanks Gold Rush. This monument is one of many treasures we are happy to share whenever possible with guests. Please remember we go where the clear skies are and not all guests have the same locations to visit. If you want to learn about Alaskan History, ask our wonderful guides who are happy to share both personal and historical facts and stories.

Alyeska Pipeline Viewing Point

Here at Aurora in Alaska we go to the best cloud free location each night. One of our favorites stops along the way is the awe-inspiring and historical Alyeska Pipeline. Whenever possible our guides happily share our Alaskan history with oil and take guests up close and personal to the pipeline.

My three star rating is because there was cloud cover which prevented a naked eye viewing of the aurora. That said, the two guides were excellent. They were knowledgeable, engaging and attentive to personal needs of group members. I would definitely recommend this tour (but keep an eye on the weather.)

This tour is done very professionally. They have their designated spot and set up. Don't really expect to travel too much to "find the aurora." However, their site is great, especially on a clear night. It wasn't the best night for seeing the aurora but the pictures still turned out great.

Thank you for leaving us a review. Each night does change our travel plans, as we go to the best location each night. This does mean some nights we good to multiple locations and others are to only one location. We do hope you understand that we do not control where the clear skies are and do our best to get to the prefect location each night.
