Private Scuba Diving is REQUIRED when your group has a novice swimmer. Look for our private tour in a separate listing.

If your swimming ability is misrepresented, it will lead to removal from this beginner scuba dive and NO REFUND.

Public transportation options are available nearby
Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
Not recommended for pregnant travelers
Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Minimum age to participate is 10.
Guests should be able to carry a minimum of 30 pounds for a short distance.
After diving you must wait 18 hours to fly or ascend to 1,000 feet or more.
Guests MUST be comfortable swimming in the ocean to complete this scuba diving tour. If you book this tour but cannot swim, you forfeit your participation in the experience as well as your right to a refund.
Must be able to answer NO to each question on the Medical Statement. A YES answer requires a doctor clearance. Failure to secure a doctor clearance when needed forfeits the ability to dive and the right to a refund. Please contact Banyan Tree Divers ahead of time for a copy of the medical form if you have any health concerns that might affect your ability to dive.
Transportation not included. Please let us know if you will not have a rental car.
Not recommended for travelers with asthma or sinus medical conditions
Proficient SWIMMING ABILITY IN THE OCEAN IS REQUIRED. This means that you must be able to swim unassisted in the ocean.

Had an awesome time with Jen! For our first time scuba diving, it could not have been more perfect. She was very easy to scuba with! We would definitely scuba with Banyan Tree Divers again on our next trip!

I absolutely recommend this dive school for its total professionalism from the very first interaction. As a nervous first timer, I have to give credit to Abby for her thorough explanation and patience. Every question I had was answered and the briefing gave me the confidence I needed to dive. Being amongst he turtles, sharks and beautiful fish, was remarkable and I enjoyed every minute of my first experience diving. Michael took brilliant photos and the photo package is a must if you wish to take your memories away with you, excellent value too. I promise I will be back!

Our diving experience with Banyan Tree Divers was unforgettable. Our instructor Mike was very fun, helpful and reassuring. The 2 dives we did were great for all levels (I am certified and for my partner it was his first time diving). We saw many turtles, a couple of sharks, beautiful fish, etc. Definitely recommend it to book your diving experience in Maui with Banyan Tree Divers!
