Private Scuba Diving is REQUIRED when your group has a novice swimmer. Look for our private tour in a separate listing.

If your swimming ability is misrepresented, it will lead to removal from this beginner scuba dive and NO REFUND.

Public transportation options are available nearby
Not recommended for travelers with spinal injuries
Not recommended for pregnant travelers
Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Minimum age to participate is 10.
Guests should be able to carry a minimum of 30 pounds for a short distance.
After diving you must wait 18 hours to fly or ascend to 1,000 feet or more.
Guests MUST be comfortable swimming in the ocean to complete this scuba diving tour. If you book this tour but cannot swim, you forfeit your participation in the experience as well as your right to a refund.
Must be able to answer NO to each question on the Medical Statement. A YES answer requires a doctor clearance. Failure to secure a doctor clearance when needed forfeits the ability to dive and the right to a refund. Please contact Banyan Tree Divers ahead of time for a copy of the medical form if you have any health concerns that might affect your ability to dive.
Transportation not included. Please let us know if you will not have a rental car.
Not recommended for travelers with asthma or sinus medical conditions
Proficient SWIMMING ABILITY IN THE OCEAN IS REQUIRED. This means that you must be able to swim unassisted in the ocean.

What an amazing experience the Banyan Tree Diving crew gave us!!! The whole trip was such fun, the dive itself was breathtaking. Mike and Abby thank you both so much, Mike you're an absolute gent and made Hannah's first adventure one she'll never forget, the training was clear and very professional, cheers. I can also highly recommend the photo package, Mike took so many photos for us that will trully be treasured.

Our dive guide Abby was great, she showed as very easy have to scuba dive and introduced us to the life under the water surface. It was an amazing experience and we saw next to lots of different fish, turtles and sharks and even heard the Wales. It was amazing. I can totally recommend them!

It was such an amazing experience from the very first minute to the end of a day I'll remember for ever. We called a couple places before Banyan, and Kevin was the only one that was incredibly nice and patient answering all the questions we had. We decided to book here because of the nice and thorough explanation of the experience over the phone. I was very nervous, it was my first time ever diving. We arrived to the meeting point and we met Abby, from the very first second she gave us excellent vibes. She explained every single step of what to look for in the day and all the safety measures we should take and trained us on it. First dive - I was very nervous but with her vast experience, Abby was able to calm me down under water, and ended up diving for 29 minutes and listening the whales singing at all times through the dive! The group (husband and in-laws) convinced me to go for a second five, the promise was we would see turtles and sharks... And it was absolutely true!!!! I went even deeper this time and lasted 39 minutes under water!!!! We encountered over 20 Turtles, 5+ sharks, and diverse beautiful marine life. After the dive I needed to give Abby a hug, she was the most patient, real, professional instructor I could have asked for. As I said, from beginning to end, the experience was top notch! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
