It was a bit chaotic when we first approached to find out where to catch our transport as all agencies providing this service were at the same place, and every body was shouting trying to get the information. Eventually we found who was the driver that was going to take us and after that things got better until we found out the van did not have air conditioning as it was a very old van and it was a very hot day.

When our flight arrived and we had collected luggage we just approached the transfer desk and the lady called our bus, no more than 15 minutes later it arrived. The minibus was really nice, it had leather seats and blacked out windows. The driving was a little crazy at first but I soon came to realise that everyone drives like that in NYC! We drove to a couple of other terminals to pick up other passengers so it took around 20/30mins for us to actually leave JFK but once we did the drive was fairly quick despite Friday evening traffic. We arrived promptly at our hotel and our driver was very helpful with luggage etc. I would definitely recommend this transfer to anyone visiting NYC.

Tried to review this a couple of times but it wont post. This is a much shorter review than what I wanted to write. I would re-consider this shared transport next time for this destination because it was quite disorganised once we were with the driver. Gave him my voucher in the airport, which he then gave back to me, had to give him the voucher again when in the vehicle. We were sat in the back row of the van but because the person in the corner of the back row had to get out before us, it meant we had to get out of the van too. Another lady in the van didn't know what voucher she had to give the driver and the driver wasn't particularly helpful. Considering the drop offs were on the drivers ipad, it would have made more sense for the driver to advise where we should sit. ie, those getting out first should sit in the front 2 rows of the van! Ground Transporation Desk at the airport is easy to find and the desk and all went ok at the desk. It took about 20 mins for the driver to arrive, but once with the driver it took about 30 mins until we finally left the airport. About 45 mins drive to Holiday Inn Express, Fifth Avenue, but that was with a couple of drop offs for other hotels first
