We didn't have to wait long and the driver got us to our hotel in a timely manner.

The drive itself was par for the course and I really liked the driver, he laughed at the strange behavior of pedestrians and vehicles which made the introduction to NYC downtown traffic a positive experience. However finding the booth was difficult and I somehow ended up on the other side of the gate and had to slip back through to get to the transportation agent. The agents themselves were not very attentive. Additionally the wait-time for a shuttle was quite long 30-min. I did not get to my hotel until 3 hours after landing given everything.
