Had to wait at JFK airport in excess of I hour for pick up.

i had to wait for approx 1 hr at terminal 5 as driver who was to collect me did not call into hall to advise the very helpful staff at desk that bus was outside

eventually the driver who did call in did a magnificient job and brought me as ' first' drop off on east 57 street

Yes it was ok. You need to go to the desk they say. Make sure yu say you have a voucher. They then take you to where you have to go.
