Joshua Tree Hummer Adventure from Palm Desert

Огляд
Take a wild ride through the California desert in a comfortable open-air Hummer. Beware, it is 20 to 30 degrees cooler in the higher elevations and we highly recommend wearing layered clothing.

This tour journeys through fabled Joshua Tree National Park. You could now choose to leave from Palm Desert or at a discount come out to Yucca Valley at the Welcome Center where the open air Hummer begins. Those beginning in Palm Desert will ride in an air conditioned shuttle for comfort. The total tour length is about 5 hours if taking our shuttle.

Experience the natural beauty of the area while learning about its ecosystem and history from a National Park–approved guide.

We have taken over 100,000 happy guests on this tour and you will not be disappointed.

For those beginning this tour in the Palm Desert or Palm Springs area, we offer a comfortable air conditioned shuttle that takes you to Joshua Tree where the open air H1 Hummer portion of this tour will begin from the Welcome Center.

1

Joshua Tree National Park
Our shuttle van will take you to the city of Joshua Tree where we trade for our H-1 Military Hummer to complete your adventure. We climb to the top of a breathtaking overlook called Keys Point that will give you a stunning view of the valley below and a view that stretches all the way to Mexico.

Keys View
Gawk at a view that stretches for hundreds of miles. From this high point in Joshua Tree you can see as far as the Salton Sea and all the way down to Mexico on a clear day. You might even be able to make out your hotel on this escarpment that borders the famous San Andreas Fault. Look below this ledge we will stop at and you will see the fault line itself which stretches for over 800 miles.
5
Barker Dam Trail
We offer an optional mile walk on this view that meanders through jaw-dropping beauty that includes the monzo granite formations of Joshua Tree as well as forests of these ancient plants that survived the Ice Age. Your Hummer guide will escort you through this area and he is a certified Wilderness guide trained in the geology of this area as well as aware of its more recent Native American history.
6
Cap Rock Trail
This offers you an additional half-mile optional walk that loops you around precarious rock formations that balance upon one another. This is one of the most photographed areas in the park and well worth a stop and visit. Do not forget your cameras!

Bob was amazing! He was so knowledgeable, entertaining and made sure everyone was comfortable and had a great experience. He went above and beyond to make sure the trip was top notch for everyone on board. We had a perfect day with Bob and couldn’t have asked for a better day at Joshua Tree. If we didn’t have to get back to our hotel he would’ve kept taking us around and on new hikes. He went above and beyond and since the tour went longer then expected (which is amazing in and of it self) he dropped us off at our hotel so we could make our event at the hotel. If I could give 20 stars I would. I recommend this trip for anyone wanting to have a great time and get so much knowledge in a fun way. Can’t wait to come back with my family to do this tour again. Ask for Bob! He was awesome!

It was great! (Except for my husband losing is hat on the hummer ride🙁) our guide, Bob was great!!!! Very knowledgeable! Our hotel experience was not so good but we didn’t go through trip advisor for that. Next time we will!!! Overall it was a lot of fun! Next time though, I would try to sit in the front so we could hear better. Bob spoke loud enough but we both have hearing issues. We would definitely recommend a Joshua tree hummer tour to others!!! Thank you Bob!!
