Scorton Creek

The Cape Cod Explorer tour operates exclusively in the Game Creek Conservation land. It is a beautiful tidal flat called Scorton Creek that is fed from Cape Cod Bay and is part of the Great Marsh eco-system. There is a amazing amount of bird activity, wildlife, and overall nature to view throughout our tour. This area consists of salt water, brackish water, and fresh water so the variation of plant and wildlife is astounding!

We had an absolutely fantastic time! Our guide, Kyle, was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We were new to kayaking, but found it very relaxing. The salt marsh is stunningly beautiful. The trip was well worth it and we are really grateful for the memories made. Thanks, Kyle and Rideaway Adventures!

For me what set this experience apart is that my guide was a teacher. I have been on many tours, both internationally and in the US. Many times I have had a guide that was knowledgeable, but did not deliver the information in an engaging way. When you have a teacher explaining the animals or local history they understand how to make it interesting for any audience. Also a teacher voice carries over windy water, no problem. I would recommend this tour for families or anyone who likes being out on the water.
