Please look at our Departure and Return instructions before your trip with us. If you have any questions please reach out before you dock in town. We will pick you up at the excursion hub which is by the bottom of the zipline by the green gondola. Also do not go the kayak center. There are two kayak business in town.

Fairweather Kayaks is based in one of the most beautiful areas in southeast Alaska. A little town called Hoonah, Alaska. Not only do you feel like its home when you get here. The people here make it feel like home. It's a hard place to leave after you visit.

Fairweather Kayaks main goal is to show you an experience that when your outing is done. Not only will you walk away happy and relaxed from being out on the water. Our goal is to show you such a good time you'll be thinking about your next visit before you even leave.

Fairweather Kayaks takes you into calm waters where the kayaking experience isnt too difficult and theres always a chance to see wildlife.

The gentle rain did not dampen our spirits! This was a terrific shore excursion. We were picked up at the meeting point when promised and taken into town where we met the Fairweather Kayaking crew. They had us geared up and on the water in minutes. They provided all the gear including waterproof pouches for my phone that I could scroll and take pictures through! Amazing. I've since bought one of those for home. I was cozy and warm the entire time. The views were spectacular, so many bald eagles and snow-capped mountains. But the best part was the humpback whales! Quite a thrill being at water level when a humpback whale swims by! So cool. Cody and his team were fabulous! I highly recommend this tour.

This was our first time ever kayaking and to say it was perfect was an understatement. We had such an amazing time and the guides were so wonderful! They provided everything necessary for a comfortable and safe trip out into the bay. 10 out of 10, highly recommend, worth every penny!!

One of our best experiences, not only in our vacation to Alaska, but on any vacation. Never book a cruise ship excursion again only go with local guides. It’s the way to go
