Please look at our Departure and Return instructions before your trip with us. If you have any questions please reach out before you dock in town. We will pick you up at the excursion hub which is by the bottom of the zipline by the green gondola. Also do not go the kayak center. There are two kayak business in town.

Fairweather Kayaks is based in one of the most beautiful areas in southeast Alaska. A little town called Hoonah, Alaska. Not only do you feel like its home when you get here. The people here make it feel like home. It's a hard place to leave after you visit.

Fairweather Kayaks main goal is to show you an experience that when your outing is done. Not only will you walk away happy and relaxed from being out on the water. Our goal is to show you such a good time you'll be thinking about your next visit before you even leave.

Fairweather Kayaks takes you into calm waters where the kayaking experience isnt too difficult and theres always a chance to see wildlife.

Cody, his mother, Michelle, and their entire crew were awesome! Not only did they arrange for a shuttle pick up and drop off, but they gave us a 3 hour tour and provided us with pictures they took of us. Super friendly, hospitable, and family owned!!! They went above and beyond!

Wanted to just say I kayaked in Alaska..but I got soooo much more...Fairweather kayak tours was above and beyond excellent.. Met Cody the kayak expert and Cody the mountain man..and the Anderson family. Absolutely charming family...we were the only people (2) signed up for this kayak tour around Hoona...and was worried it would be cancelled..instead we got a private kayak tour to end all kayak yours. I kayak a lot in florida..but this tour blew my mind...we were fortunate enough to see whales breach..a brown bear family..an eagle and a peeping sea lion...all on glass like water...easy paddling for my wife who has never kayaked (she had a blast). It you are ever in icy straits ..please check out Fairweather kayak tours..Cody is the owner and guide..so you know you are getting vip treatment..thanks for a memorial kayak tour.

Cody was amazing! We were glad we went with him instead of the cruise excursions. Even though it was raining, we had a wonderful time.
