We take great pride in offering amazing clear kayak adventures in the beautiful waters surrounding Clearwater Beach. As experienced Tour Guides, we've worked hard to make sure our tours are anything but run-of-the-mill. We regularly find Dolphins, Manatees, and many other types of wildlife.

Our guides have been trained in CPR, first-aid, and ACA Kayak rescue so you can rest assured you’re guide has the training to have a safe and fun tour.

At Sea Glass Kayaking, we would like to inform everyone that we operate on a reservation-only basis No walkup's are available.

Please note that due to license requirements in the city of Clearwater, Guided rental customers at our 69 Bay Esplanade location are required to launch the kayaks themselves. Our team is available to offer instruction to ensure a successful launch.

While Bridget (our guide) was great, the trip was just not what we anticipated. From the listing We expected a leisurely kayak ride through the bay seeing various animals. What this actually was was 2 full hours of paddling through the bay & through a couple of channels where boats & jet-skis were coming in and out. We didn’t see a single animal, and quite literally I would have rather had a single person fishing kayak for this trip because this made the clear kayaks pointless. By the end of the trip we were all exhausted, drenched in sweat, and covered in salt 😅 Bridget was very great at what she was doing though. So if you’re looking for a little more of an exercise on the water this trip is for you.

Was very fun and our tour guide Bridget was very knowledgable and fun to be around. Bridget even offered to keep our stuff in dry area while on kayaks and did a great job keeping us safe from boats. It is tiring if you are not in shape but definitely doable for two adults.

Not sure how this had such good reviews overall. Kayaks that look cool on pics which are clear plastic are not suitable for anything but absolute calm waters of clear calm river or a lake. They are not stable at all and it’s a safety issue. We turned around after 10 mins and were lucky we didn’t have any boats pass by, we would be flipped in a second with a couple of waves. They were also only 2 people, we had 3 people in our group and found out that there weren’t single’s available on the day of. Would not recommend this to anyone. We planned our day around it and half of it was wasted so I recommend to have a plan B for that day.

Our kayaks are designed for Stability in various conditions, but we understand they may not suit everyone's preferences or the specific conditions on a given day. Safety is our top priority, and we only operate in conditions deemed safe, with limits such as winds below 15mph and a low chance of rain. However, factors like passing boats can still be intimidating for new paddlers. We apologize if there was any miscommunication regarding the availability of single kayaks.
