We appreciated the super short ride to the site as we loaded near the OutRigger hotel. But, felt that we could have had longer to watch over the manta rays --even forty minutes would have been nice. The 25 minutes we had went so fast! It was exciting to see the rays float right by you and arch away in their calm movements. We saw three right away and probably 5-7 in total. Everything felt so safe, even though you can't see much around you. Please know you really don't take anything with you but your shoes. Everything is left at the meeting van. Don't forget your underwater camera. The crew will give you pool noodles to help stabilize your floating plank, but we felt they should cut the pool noodle shorter to not overlap other guests. They noodles caused problems of floating away as guests next to you may push them, as their body length is shorter and you are very close together.

Captain Justin, deck hand Jordan and guide Cam, we're all soooo amazing. This is a must do experience in kona and these guys make it a no fuss operation. We arrived went through saftey instructions and went straight to the water. My husband was a little nervous and the guys instantly made him feel better about it they were reassuring and also a little funny which helped him relax. The boat ride was about two minutes and super smooth. Once in the water both my husband I both got a little motion sick and they were all so kind and accommodating and got us back up on the boat and gave us some tips to help.

The mantas get within inches of you and are just spectacular creatures. The crew was great and fun and it was a small group so the operation is very easy
