This was our family's first zipline tour and was absolutely amazing. Where to start? Our guides, Jerrel and Derek were a great team that made our kids (7 and 9) feel ultra comfortable and even gave them a tandem ride, when they could, so my wife and I could get a solo run in here and there. They were all about safety, but also made sure everyone was having fun and comfortable.
Many of the lines, but not all (maybe 2), you get to choose how to ride, sitting, superman or upside down (this comes down to safety, real little kids like ours won't have a harness to even do the superman). Tandem riders are committed to seated style of ride. We were actually surprised, the kids were able to go on a couple of lines alone, even with their smaller size.
The course is fantastic with amazing views of the south side. There are a couple of ultra small hikes uphill to get from one line to another (on order of a few minutes), but nothing outrageous. There is a bit of waiting for your group to go on a line (just for your group, not for other groups). It's one person or tandem at a time, with one guide hooking you up and the other catching you at the end, but goes pretty quick. We got to know most of the people in our group this way chatting in between.
They have plenty of water along the way, so you don't have to lug anything along with you really, aside from a phone or camera. One of the stops had simple granola bars.
We'll be doing this tour again, when the kids are a little taller so we can all do solo runs for all the lines.
