To get an excellent insight into the history, culture, spirituality and history of the Hawaiian begin your tour of the Big Island here. We brought a group of 24 College students who are off line for a month. With this tour they began their immersion into the Big Island with this tour. Dreu was extremely knowledgeable about the island and provided many great insights that we had missed in books about the history of the people and the islands. Sadly, Kaloko-Honokohau Park was closed because of the governent shmut down but he and his partner, Mr. K., quickly adapted and provided a better tour than the Park Service could have given. The day was topped off with a delicious lunch and beverage. Not only 5 stars but also two very big thumbs up.

The process is much more detailed than we thought. We walked through the coffee trees and saw the drying process. Their way of doing everything by hand was interesting.
