The tour guide (Aaron) tried to pick a fight with our teacher, but the experience was good and Aaron was very knowledgeable.

Aloha Walter, Thank you for your review. I want to clarify that your group didn't take our standard Kona Tour, your private tour was a modified version of this tour. After talking with Aaron, he mentioned that your teacher had insisted to keep both groups together throughout the day even though the itinerary provided by your coordinator has stated the groups need to visit the bee farm at different time slots due to the limited capacity at the farm. Therefore, Aaron had to make the decision to follow the itinerary in order to avoid the capacity issue. I am not sure picking a "fight" with your teacher was the right word to describe their interaction as Aaron mentioned that your teacher understood the reason behind his decision and complied. There were no physical altercations involved during the entire conversation. While we do allow some flexibility in our private tours, however, some modifications would compromise the overall experience. In this case, one of your groups would miss the Bee Farm entirely had we followed your teacher's instructions to keep both groups together throughout the day. Overall, we are glad to hear your group enjoyed the experience and we hope to see you all again soon. Mahalo, Jay
