Ok, I want to be very fair with this review. I would love to rate it more stars based on the customer service, which is great here. But other things made me drop it to 2 stars. Let me start by saying, the prices for the rooms to stay at the resort is not worth it. It's very overpriced for what you get. My children enjoyed the weekend. But for the price we paid, I expected a much bigger room. The room is pretty small. It doesn't have a sitting area for you to eat if you wanted to bring back food to the room. There's no privacy between the kids area and the main bedroom. The scavenger hunt is so easy, the kids finished it in 5 mins. They enjoyed playing with the legos, but not enough for the price. At least they give you complimentary water and juice. The rooms don't have phones, but you can text the front desk to let them know your needs and they will definitely respond and help. I appreciated that. The free breakfast is not worth the money either. They offer the same thing every morning. Not many options. We appreciate the gesture, but at least offer omelettes. The Bricks restaurant is pretty good. Again, the kids enjoyed their meals. I wouldn't recommend the shrimp scampi. It's supposed to feed up to 3. They give you a lot of pasta and not many shrimp. The chicken parm was pretty good though. The bar stops serving food after 8pm, which I found odd. The restaurant doesn't really do take out but did offer to help me out and I was able to get food from them. Again, the customer service here is outstanding. They really go over and beyond. The elevator ride is fun. The kids enjoyed the play area, but its not much to it. We were disappointed the pool wasn't open, I think that would of made the trip better as well.
Now, the amusement park.. The kids enjoyed it. But if you are a thrill seeker then this is not the park for you. If you want family fun for all ages, then this is the perfect park. About 3-4 rides was closed, but they tell you that at the beginning so its your choice to go in if you want. Or you can turn around. I think that's going to be like that for a while until they can hire more people. The lines were pretty reasonable and so we got through the rides pretty early. The BBQ restaurant when you first walk in is really good!! It's the best in the park. The other thing we really enjoyed was the 4D movies. They play 2 different movies per day, and both were a lot of fun. The lego cities were amazing! The details are great. Make sure you have your walking shoes because the hills can wear you out! I hope they expand the park with more rides similar to the one in Orlando.. I feel like for this opening season, knowing that they couldn't offer everything fully that they should have made the price better. They leave a lot to be desired.
So, to end... I would definitely come to the park again with my young kids. But I would never stay at the resort hotel again unless they drop the prices. The prices are not worth it. You can stay at a offsite hotel for much less if you need to. I want to add that the park is very clean and the customer service here was just as amazing as at the hotel.
