My advice to all is STAY AWAY for now. Park & hotel is understaffed by 50% in my opinion. The only place that was consistently staffed were the gift shops. Pool has been closed since opening & I doubt it will open this summer. Do not pay $20 for the refillable mug promising free refills of pop & slushies. Slushies were out of order the past two days we’ve been here. Majority of drink stations closed due to staffing. The ones that are opened are swarming with bees & no ice. Many rides closed both days (staffing). Both days- no snack vendors open for ice cream or anything. A few carnival style games (pay to play) none were open day one. A few were day two. I will say wait lines were short. But, there were not many rides & it’s a lot of walking in between. The staff seems to be at breaking point. Many were either uninformed or clearly tired of being yelled at. Hotel- the included breakfast was great. Dinner & drinks were great, best I’ve had at any theme parks. Highly recommend the family style chicken & the pizza that was very large. Reservations for dinner- confusing. You must book early in the day. They seat reservations till 9pm but walk-ins only till 6:30. The walk to/from the park will be long & hot. The bar was a highlight. There is a nice play area in the middle of the lobby right by the bar. You will find many kids playing looking the happiest they’ve been & all the parents happy to have a drink. All commiserating in how a dream vacation could go this bad. There is no front desk. Room- no phone, cups, hangers, ice or ice bucket. Staff said guest steal ice buckets. No drawers for clothes. There is literally one shelf. The ironing board is on the shelf leaning against the wall. Easily it could fall over & injure someone. FYI no room service. No fan in the bathroom. After a hot day in park, being told no pool & waiting forever for our room, air conditioning not working. We were comped a meal (but I wasn’t wanting that!). We decided to splurge & stay at the hotel for the full experience but we would’ve been much happier with a nearby hotel with a pool for less than half the price. We would’ve cancelled the whole package if we had known what we know now. There were some really nice staff that went above & beyond, Kenny in the lobby & Paul bartender/waiter.
