Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

Show was good. Food was ok. Drink was sweet. But was charged $5 cash for parking at the entrance by the person with staff shirt, felt scammed

Parking at the Kilohana Plantation is free for all visitors and Luau Kalamaku guests. If you have any additional information to provide about the parking fee you were asked to pay - please let us know and we'll follow up. Glad you enjoyed the main performance. Mahalo.

The service was excellent. Every seat was a good seat. Show was excellent and different from any other luau I’ve been to.

We came because of our 13 year old granddaughter. Beautiful luau venue, but it was too long. We wished that the performance could have started sooner!! We never found out how to collect our photo and we really wanted it!! Please try to locate it and send it to us!
