Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

What a wonderful experience ! Everything about this luau was fantastic . The food , drinks, and service were all very good . But the real joy of this experience was the music and dancing . It was the best I have ever seen at a luau. Don’t miss this one

So we didn't realize till we booked it but this event actually cam recommended to us by one of our relatives. It was so cool. We loved the music and the fire performers. We were a little unsure of how it was going to be when we got there since there were so many people. But everything went well as far as we could tell. We also really liked the food. My wife who is not very adventurous in her eating choices, actually tried some of the fish that was served. She loved the taste but was not a fan of the texture (I am just glad she tried it), I thought it was perfect. I also really liked the vegetarian Lo Mein.
